How to improve the precision management of the injection mold during the processing process. First of all, we need to know which aspects of the problem are affecting the accuracy of injection mold production.

1. Dimensional accuracy

Refers to the actual working size of the machined parts and the tolerance size and range of the parts.

The dimensional accuracy is controlled by the dimensional tolerance. The dimensional tolerance is the allowable amount of change in the size of the part during the cutting process. In the case of the same basic size, the smaller the dimensional tolerance, the higher the dimensional accuracy.

2. Shape accuracy

Refers to the degree of overlap between the actual problem geometry and the ideal of the surface of the processed product part is the overlap of the geometry model shape. There are 6 items for evaluating shape and accuracy, such as straightness, flatness, roundness, cylindricity and line profile. The different accuracy of the shape is controlled by the shape tolerance management. Except for roundness and cylindricity, all these shape tolerances are divided into 12 accuracy requirements grades. Level 1 is high and level 12 is low.

3. Position accuracy

It refers to the difference between the research surface of the processed parts and the actual working position and accuracy of the company. The accuracy evaluation of position information includes eight aspects of parallelism, perpendicularity, inclination, concentricity, symmetry, position, circular runout and full runout. Position positioning accuracy is controlled by position tolerances, and position tolerances for various purposes are divided into 12 accuracy assessment levels.

Generally, when designing mechanical parts and machining accuracy, attention should be paid to the shape error in the position tolerance of the internal control system, and the position error should be less than the dimensional tolerance.
